Privacy Policy

1. Local saves and preferences

The game stores your nickname, chosen country, a random player or installation identifier, scores, progress and preferences on your device or in browser storage. Preferences include language, audio, graphics and frame rate. This website also remembers your chosen site language in local storage.

Clear browser site data to remove browser saves and the remembered site language. Android app data can be cleared in device settings; Windows saves can be removed from the game's user-data folder. Local deletion does not remove existing server records, platform purchases or cloud copies. Backups and synchronization may restore local data.

2. Rankings and platform accounts

The web game reads public rankings but does not submit browser scores. Native versions connecting to api.playbananagame.com send a nickname, country code, installation identifier, platform, score and run identifier. The service stores account and score timestamps. These records identify players, prevent duplicate submissions, maintain rankings and help investigate abuse. Guest registration checks nickname availability.

Where platform sign-in is available, Steam or Google Play Games verifies authentication tickets or authorization codes and supplies a player identifier and display name. Country codes may come from your selection or a platform profile. Mainu Studio does not ask for your Steam or Google password. Platform sign-in is not available in every build and does not automatically combine saves across platforms.

Public leaderboard responses include a ranking account identifier, nickname, country, score and position. Use a nickname rather than your real name. Never enter passwords, contact details or sensitive information as a name.

Where Steam Cloud or achievements are enabled, Steam can synchronize save files or receive achievement and progress events. These services are also governed by Valve's Privacy Policy and, for Google services, the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Android advertising: Google AdMob

Ad-supported Android versions use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). An interstitial is eligible after two completed rounds; a banner can appear below the menu or game-over screen when safe space is available. Actual delivery depends on consent, availability and purchase status. A verified ad-removal purchase disables both placements. This does not apply to the ad-free browser game screen.

Google and advertising partners can collect and receive this information. The game does not request GPS or precise-location access for these ads. A selected country flag is not GPS location. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure and how Google uses data from partner apps and sites.

4. Consent and your advertising choices

Where required, the Android app presents a regional privacy message before requesting ads. To revisit available consent choices, open the shopping-bag icon beside the trash icon in the lobby, then choose Ad privacy choices. This entry is shown when required by UMP. Refusing personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ads or technical processing; limited or non-personalized ads may remain available where permitted.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings and change preferences in Google Ads Settings. These controls do not delete a ranking account. Applicable US state sale/sharing opt-out choices are provided through the relevant message and privacy options where required.

Consent can be withdrawn for future processing that relies on it. Processing necessary to provide a requested service or prevent abuse may rely on another applicable basis. Your rights and the available controls depend on your location and the service.

5. Website hosting and advertising

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and ranking API and hosts ranking data. It may process IP addresses, request times, URLs, browser or device details and security signals. The ranking application's operational logs record a request identifier, method, endpoint path, response status and duration. Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure aggregate site traffic and performance.

Substantive website articles include Google AdSense connection code. Google and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and identifiers to deliver, measure or personalize ads according to region, consent and settings. The /play game screen, privacy and terms pages do not include AdSense ad code. Website AdSense messages are separate from Android AdMob consent.

6. Purchases and support

In Android versions offering ad removal, Google Play processes payment. The app receives product identifiers, purchase status and signed purchase data to verify and restore access, and keeps a local receipt cache. Mainu Studio does not receive your full card number or bank login through this feature. Ad removal does not delete ranking data or records needed to verify purchases. Availability and purchase terms are shown in the app and store.

Support email provides us with your email address, message and attachments. We use them to answer your request, resolve problems and handle privacy requests. Send only relevant information, never passwords or payment credentials.

7. Retention and deletion requests

Local saves remain until removed or overwritten. The ranking database does not currently automatically expire accounts or historical score submissions. These records support ongoing rankings and abuse investigation; you can request deletion or correction. Session-token expiry does not erase an account.

The trash icon in the lobby opens account-deletion guidance; opening it does not immediately erase an account. You can also use the account-deletion page without installing or signing in. Email mainustudio@gmail.com with your platform, ranking nickname and the account you want removed. We may ask for non-sensitive proof of ownership. Never send passwords or payment credentials.

Requests are handled subject to applicable law. If necessary records must be retained for legal obligations, security or a dispute, we explain the reason. Support messages are kept while needed for the request and follow-up. Provider-managed purchase records, advertising data, hosting logs and backups follow their respective retention and deletion processes; clearing this app cannot erase them from those providers.

8. Younger players

Banana Game's intended audience is ages 13 and above, but child-protection and consent-age rules vary by country. An age rating or family-friendly ad rating does not replace privacy protections. Where required, younger users must not receive personalized ads and appropriate age or consent restrictions must be in place before ads are enabled. Contact us if you believe a child's data was submitted improperly so we can investigate and address it.

9. Security, international processing and rights

The website and ranking API use HTTPS. Google's Mobile Ads documentation describes TLS encryption in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Cloudflare, Google and Valve operate internationally; information may be processed outside your country under their applicable safeguards and privacy policies.

Depending on your location, you may be entitled to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact Mainu Studio about our records. Use platform or advertising-provider controls as well for data they control.

10. Policy changes

We update this policy when services or data practices change. The date above identifies this revision. Material changes and any newly required consent will be communicated as required before the relevant processing begins.
